We are incredibly proud to have been selected as the lead vendor by Warner Bros. Animation to develop and realise the animation for Merry Little Batman. For us, the journey began with a couple test sequences to translate the stand-out-designs by Guillaume Fesquet into movement. “YES!!! This is what we had imagined the film to look like” was the response and it was off to the races! It’s not every day that you get to work with director talent like Mike Roth or do frame by frame hand-drawn animation for a classic DC superhero – and we have given our love to every minute of it!
From the first moment when we saw the animatic of the film, we knew this was going to be an absolutely amazing Christmas special. We hope families will love it for years to come!
And may this be the first of many more feature films for Gigglebug!
