The good folks at Nickelodeon USA approached Gigglebug to design the animated versions of Jonny and Matty — the California based kid-pop sensation ready to take on the world! The punk-rock infused energy of the kids’ songs was so authentic and infectious that we jumped at the opportunity. Not only did we get to design the characters, but we were also engaged to produce a series of shorts for Nick Jr!
In the ten-part series, The BeatBuds drum up ideas on how to make the Beat Bash the best musical experience ever! In each episode, Jonny and Matty encounter new friends who join the group and sing along to super catchy kids’ songs!
